I couldn’t care for them and then give them away

That’s exactly what everyone thinks. It’s exactly what we thought before we started fostering! And there’s no denying it is a bittersweet moment when the time comes to send them off to their new family, but the reward you get from seeing where they came from and then to see them thrive in their new lives is just as great. And knowing that you can then do the same again for another dog so desperate for love and comfort fills you with so much hope!

On the other hand, there’s no shame in a ‘‘failed foster’! This is what it’s called when a fosterer decides to permanently adopt the dog they’ve been caring for! Even though this may mean you are unable to foster any more dogs, we’ll still have an amazing result that one of our dogs has found their Forever Family!
