I already have a dog of my own

That does not necessarily prevent you from fostering other dogs. As long as your dog has been around other dogs and gets on well with them then there should be no problem.

If you apply to become a foster family we would ask for details of your current situation at the point of application. We would also ask if you have any preferences of the types of dog you would be happier to take on. Whether big or small, young or old or even just puppies! We would only ever place a dog with you that suits your situation and is safe for your other dogs. This also applies to homes that have children. We would never ask you to foster a dog if we were aware of any risk to other people or pets in your household.
