Leo’s Story:
Leo is another of our dogs who was hit by a car and left alone to suffer! Fortunately two police officers noticed him on the side of the road and stayed with him until our rescuer got there to take care of him. He was severely injured and terrified. It was clear that he had fractured his leg and was in a lot of pain. He was taken straight to the vet for treatment. Our wonderful vet fixed his leg with pins and plates and started him on treatment for his bloodborne infections.
Leo is as good as new and ready to live his best life! He is a calm and timid dog who loves to curl up on a blanket or get up close for belly rubs and fuss. We think that Leo would suit a not too active family or older couple. He would appreciate short gentle walks rather than cross-country runs. And then home to curl up and have a snooze would be heaven to him. Could you give this cuddle bug with the waggiest of tails a bed in the Forever Home he dreams of?
