Scampi’s Story:
Scampi was found wondering the streets of a small village in Cyprus. In fact Scampi rescued himself! He heard the dogs of a local rescuer and appeared at the back of their garden above a very high wall. Just as soon as he was spotted, he disappeared. Within minutes he had found his way down the hill and appeared at the front gate of the same rescuer’s home! They let him in and there he stayed whilst they tried to track down his owner. With no microchip and no name tag on his collar, unsurprisingly, Scampi’s ‘owner’ was not found.
Scampi is a happy soul who likes to know where his people are! He will stick close by, often laying on the floor behind you. He loves ear scratches and will quite often jump up on to your lap or on a space next to you so he can have fuss and attention or just curl up and sleep with you close by.
